This is the contract between you (the client) and 5 Day Sites (sole trader, UK). Buying a build, booking a kickoff call, or paying the founding-5 fee means you've read and accepted these terms.
1. What's included
A 5 Day Sites build includes:
- →Up to 21 pages of custom-branded marketing website (home, services, areas, about, reviews, gallery, contact, thanks)
- →One round of revisions during the build week
- →Domain setup, SSL, deploy, and Google Business Profile sync (where applicable)
- →Quote form connected to your email and SMS
- →Local SEO setup (schema, area pages, meta)
2. What it costs
The founding-5 setup fee is £499 one-off (£699 once the founding-5 places are filled).
Hosting, ongoing updates, monitoring, and minor edits are £59/month. The first month is included with founding-5 setup. There is no minimum contract — you can cancel hosting at any time with 30 days' notice.
Prices are inclusive of VAT (currently not charged — 5 Day Sites is below the UK VAT registration threshold).
3. Refund policy
Before kickoff: Full refund, no questions asked. If you've paid but haven't yet had the kickoff call, email us and we'll refund within 7 working days.
During build week: If we can't deliver a site you're satisfied with by Day 5, you can request a refund. You forfeit any version of the build we've delivered so far and we keep all design files.
After go-live: The setup fee becomes non-refundable once the site is live on your domain. Monthly hosting can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice. We do not pro-rate part-months.
4. What you own
You own:
- →Your domain (we register it in your name, or transfer it to you on request)
- →All copy, photos, and brand assets you supplied
- →The deployed site files — we'll export a static copy on request after 90 days of hosting
We retain the underlying production system, design patterns, and any code or workflow we use across builds. You are not licensed to resell, sublicense, or extract the platform.
5. What we need from you
For us to hit the 5-day timeline, we need from you within 24 hours of the kickoff call:
- →A list of your services and the areas you cover
- →Any logo, brand colour, or existing photography
- →Reviews from Google, Trustpilot, or Checkatrade (we pull these for you)
- →Final sign-off on the preview by end of Day 4
If we can't get this material in time, the 5-day clock pauses and resumes when we have what we need. We will not refund based on a delay caused by waiting for client materials.
6. Revisions
Day 4 includes one full revision round — you can request any changes to copy, layout, photos, or service descriptions. Major scope changes (e.g. adding e-commerce, booking systems, or new pages beyond the original 21) are quoted separately. While on the £59/month plan, minor edits (text, photo swaps, new service entries) are unlimited.
7. Cancellation
Setup work: Cancel any time before kickoff for a full refund. Once kickoff happens, the setup fee is committed.
Monthly hosting: 30 days' written notice via [email protected]. We will export the final static version of your site for you free of charge and disable hosting at the end of the notice period.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the past 12 months. We do not accept liability for downstream business outcomes (lead volume, Google rankings, revenue) — we deliver the build to spec; we don't guarantee a specific commercial result.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
